Complicated Love
The series explores the emotional complexity of family relationships. Through these works, I reflect on the contradictions that shape our most intimate bonds — how comfort and the burden of expectations, belonging and distance, love and hate can coexist within a family.

I grew up as a middle child in a family with two brothers. My parents had me when they were only 24. When I was seven, I think, they agreed to get a kitten for me. She wasn’t the fluffiest or cutest kitten I had ever seen. She was so tiny and her eyes were watering. But we clicked, and she became my very best friend while I was growing up.
Only now, looking back, do I realise that my cat Ksyusha was, in a way, my saviour. She gave me the warmth, hugs and tenderness I needed so much. She always slept in my bed, with her cute little face tucked into my ear, purring me to sleep.

Julley. Series of works
Julley — a Ladakhi greeting meaning hello, goodbye, welcome, and good luck.
Inspired by a pilgrimage journey through the Buddhist region of Ladakh, in this series I reflect on the journey not only as an adventurous experience through the landscape, but more as a journey of self-discovery in a new and unusual environment, both cultural and physical. Using photographs taken during the trip as a reference point, I combine mountainous landscapes with images of locals and fellow travelers, creating layered, psychologically charged compositions that blur documentation and memory.
Figures often remain unfinished or dissolve into fields of colour, shifting the focus from individual identity to questions of belonging and what it means to fit in—or remain outside
